Mental Health Clinics & Programs
Clubhouses are evidence-based models of psychiatric rehabilitation – one-stop places that help people with serious mental illness by providing:
peer support
access to services
employment and educational opportunities
socialization and recreation in a safe, restorative and structured setting
Research shows that the Clubhouse model reduces hospitalization and justice involvement and improves health and wellness.
Mental Health Clinics & Programs
Mental Health Clinics are places people can get an array of services like psychiatric, psychological, social, peer, and other services to help maintain good mental health.
Helplines
Helplines provide help, support, and referrals for people in crisis or needing someone to talk to. Most Helplines are confidential, safe, and open 24 hours a day.
Mental Health Crisis Respite Centers
Mental Health Crisis Respite Centers help people avoid going to an emergency room or psychiatric hospital when they are experiencing an emotional or psychiatric crisis.

CONNECT Programs
The Continuous Engagement between Community and Clinic Treatment (CONNECT) program is a new model that looks to bridge gaps in the mental health care system, move beyond the traditional clinic role, center collaboration with communities, and be responsive to the root causes of mental health challenges. The CONNECT programs in New York City address health inequities within communities that directly impact mental health outcomes. The programs connect New Yorkers to a wide variety of services while also providing low-barrier and low-threshold mental health services.
