Mental Health concerns are more common than most other conditions with the human body. For many, many years Mental Health concerns and treatment has been stigmatized. People have been not able to seek help because of the stigma and their fear of the unknown.

Mental Health Clinics & Programs

Mental Health Clinics are places people can get an array of services like psychiatric, psychological, social, peer, and other services to help maintain good mental health.


Helplines provide help, support, and referrals for people in crisis or needing someone to talk to. Most Helplines are confidential, safe, and open 24 hours a day.

Mental Health Crisis Respite Centers

Mental Health Crisis Respite Centers help people avoid going to an emergency room or psychiatric hospital when they are experiencing an emotional or psychiatric crisis.

Mental Health Housing Programs

In New York State there are many organizations and programs that can help attain and maintain independent and/or supported housing.
