Food Pantries typically provide a week or two of quality, nutritious unprepared food. Some pantries provide ready to eat items for those who do not have the facilities to cook.

helpNYC has been working with food assistance programs across New York City to provide our neighbors in need with up-to-date operation information during the COVID-19 health crisis in New York City. We strive to provide the most accurate information and resources.

During the COVID-19 crisis in New York City and out of respect for the State of New York Stay-At-Home Order, helpNYC suggests using the Plentiful App to schedule your pantry visit. Most food pantries are listed by Plentiful and it is easy to sign-up.
