The helpNYC’s Emergency Relief Response program is designed to help those directly impacted by an emergency situation such as extreme weather conditions, natural disasters, civic crises, and other situations. helpNYC, along with its partners, helps communicate with the public in real-time about information, resources, and services for those impacted by the emergency, and how the public can donate or volunteer for the relief effort. As with the helpNYC.info Resource Navigator Program, all listings are rigorously verified.

Twin Parks Fire
Sunday, January 9, 2022The five-alarm fire that took place in the Twin Parks North West Apartment Building at 333 East 181st Street, In The Bronx, New York City on the morning of January 9, 2022, affected 110 families. 17 residents were lost to the fire.
helpNYC's Emergency Relief Response was activated on January 10, 2022, and continued through January 28, 2022, in partnership with the Bronx Borough President's Office, and other partners.
